Materials Needed
- Monk’s Cloth: High-density weave fabric.
- Yarn: Oat, charcoal, sand, and terracotta yarn.
- Punch Needle Tool: Fine punch needle for clean line definition.
- Backing Material: Premium cut cork disk.
- Adhesive: High-strength craft glue.
- Tools: Ruler, compass or round caps for tracing arches, marker, hoop.
How to Make It
- Composition Design: Draw a large arch extending from the bottom of your 4-inch square or circle guide. Add two or three straight offset lines running parallel or intersecting the arch.
- Outline First: Punch the narrow charcoal line accents first using precise fine punches.
- Arch & Field: Fill the main arch with terracotta or sand tone yarn. Punch the surrounding outer background with soft oat yarn to establish a seamless neutral frame.
