15. Toxic Waste Laboratory
For a modern, sci-fi spin on Halloween decor, turn a corner of your home into a hazardous waste zone or a rogue scientist’s lab. Use bright neon green and hazard orange as your primary colors. Set up large glass carboys or plastic barrels painted with biohazard symbols, filling them with water dyed neon green. Place submersible green LED lights at the bottom of the containers to make the liquid glow intensely. Hang yellow “Caution: Biohazard” tape across doorways and windows. Scatter plastic rats, neon-colored syringes, and bubbling test tubes across your surfaces. If possible, run a fog machine with a hose leading into one of the barrels, allowing thick, green-lit fog to spill over the edges and pool on the floor.
